The
Tasmanian Camp - the Ultimate
Challenge!
Tuesday
8th to Saturday 12th June 2010
(Day attendance or boarding available)
Four
crimes have been prepared and are waiting for you to solve
them:
- A
Family Affair - the Galvin family is loaded with
secrets - it is murder unnatural..
- Business
Unusual - Peacock-Dennison Pty Ltd has it all
- murder, perjury ... and hate...
- Death
by Numbers
- There is too much funny money in the bank accounts, and
plenty to hide...
- Open
Season - A hunting lodge gathering between old
school friends and their families turns very nasty...
Over
five days working as part of a close knit team, you will take
on the role of a Detective. You will work with a higher police
controller and use forensic techniques and lots of brainpower
to solve the crime and bring a suspect to trial. A full
trial will be held on the last day.
The
aim of the camp is to develop your skills in solving very
complex real-life problems - that will take days to solve,
not hours and will require the focused intelligence of your
team. You will be intrigued, frustrated and excited.
You
will enjoy this camp if you like solving problems, working
as part of a team, working on a problem for a longer period
than usual and you really enjoy solving a problem! "Stickability"
is a must to attend and enjoy this camp! See the programme
page.
I
attended the Introductory Camp in 2009 - what is different?
You don't receive the same level of help. There are different
crimes to solve, it runs for a longer time, it is almost all
crime solving. You start with is a Police Report and you have
to work out everything else. You learn about bringing suspects
to trial.
Unlike
the 2009 Camp, there are an infinite number of paths to getting
an arrest warrant. It is totally up to you and your team...
It is a much bigger, more difficult challenge!
